When the lights go down in the Palais, the evening is not over.For three nights Munich Fashion Week moves on to Lenbachplatz, to 794 JIDAI: a sushi bar and fine dining by day, a club after dinner.

Designers, models, crew and guests end up here after the shows.What happens next is on nobody’s run sheet.

Every show ticket carries the same line: with a paid Munich Fashion Week ticket, entry to the afterparty is free.If you paid for the day, the night costs nothing extra — have your ticket ready at the door.

Without a show ticket the night is sold on its own: 20 € per evening, separately for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.The free Sunday pass does not count as a paid ticket.

It is about four kilometres from the Marriott Munich City West towards the centre, roughly fifteen minutes by tram or taxi.Lenbachplatz sits right next to Stachus.

A modern Asian restaurant on Lenbachplatz, built around a sushi bar in the middle of the room.The name points to the year 794, the start of Japan's Heian period.Red velvet chairs, brass lamps on every table, and late in the evening the restaurant turns into a club.

The week starts on Wednesday with the opening party at OLEA, followed by the Exclusive Dinner on Thursday.And on all three show days a rooftop party runs at the Cloud from late afternoon, before the night moves here.
