AMD — Akademie Mode & Design

AMD Akademie Mode & Design is a private university for media, design and the creative industries, with campuses in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Munich and Wiesbaden plus a cross-campus online campus. The online campus runs the part-time Bachelor's programme Mode- und Designmanagement and the Master's programme Fashion Management. In Munich, the Bachelor's offering covers Mode Design, Mode- und Designmanagement, Innenarchitektur, Interior Design, Marken- und Kommunikationsdesign and Fashion Journalism & Communication.

At Munich Fashion Week 2026, AMD is leaving the finished graduate collections aside and opening its studio doors for a look behind the scenes. Visitors see how the creative process takes shape long before an outfit reaches the runway: from the first idea through material selection and pattern cutting to the final piece.
