Kokonelle

Kokonelle is a multidimensional artist from Munich with Congolese roots. In her music she blends hip-hop, R'n'B, Afro and soul – multilingually in English, German, French and Lingala. Her songs deal with identity, resistance, radical tenderness and self-empowerment. Away from the stage, too, she is active as an educator, visual artist and curator, and deliberately understands art as a political practice.

At the end of 2025 her debut EP „Release“ was released, a six-part project between empowerment and vulnerability, which was featured by BR Zündfunk, Gasteig Magazin and the Süddeutsche Zeitung, among others.
