Fashion Design Institut

The Fashion Design Institut is a state-recognised private fashion school based in Düsseldorf. It provides training in fashion design, fashion journalism and styling, and fashion marketing and management. Its programmes include vocational training courses, bachelor's degrees, master's programmes offered through international partner schools, as well as online courses and workshops. Classes are taught by instructors from the fashion industry, and no secondary-school diploma (Abitur) is required for admission. At Munich Fashion Week 2026, the school presents the work of its emerging designers.
