NIO is a Chinese manufacturer of electric vehicles, headquartered in Shanghai. Founded in 2014, the company relies on swappable batteries: at Power Swap stations the battery is exchanged in a few minutes, or subscribed to via Battery-as-a-Service. In Germany, NIO is present with NIO Houses in Berlin, Frankfurt and Düsseldorf.
