Based in Munich, ROPA. has carved out a niche with her magnetic stage presence and eclectic mixes. Her sound is led by African electronic elements — Afrotech, 3-step and Gqom — with a lot of soul, as heard in her soultec series on YouTube.
ROPA. hears beyond the music. Her palette is the result of a strong musical foundation: self-taught on three instruments, songwriting and choir. She fuses diverse genres into immersive auditory experiences that draw on her Shona and Ndebele heritage.
