About
Gelyn Welle leads the exhibition programme at Munich Fashion Week 2026. Born in Manila and based in Munich, she spent years in advertising, finance and brand strategy across several continents — consulting for luxury houses such as Cartier, Luxottica and Dolce & Gabbana in Shanghai, and building her own marketing consultancy in Mexico.
In 2020 she founded Polkaducks, a children's books and toys label that has since grown into the Philippines. In 2025 she launched Mama macht Markt and foundHerMarkt, platforms that back women through entrepreneurship, motherhood and the transitions in between. Her MmMarket brings that spirit to Munich Fashion Week: a marketplace by women, for women and families, built on creativity, community and genuine connection.
