Kokonelle

Kokonelle is a multidimensional artist from Munich with Congolese roots. In her music she blends hip-hop, R'n'B, Afro and soul – multilingually in English, German, French and Lingala. Her songs deal with identity, resistance, radical tenderness and self-empowerment. Beyond the stage she also works as an educator, visual artist and curator, and deliberately understands art as a political practice.

Her debut EP "Release" appeared at the end of 2025, a six-part project between empowerment and vulnerability that was featured by BR Zündfunk, Gasteig Magazin and the Süddeutsche Zeitung, among others.
